Dressing the Governor General
I was honoured to have the Governor General, Mary Simon, wear my designs at a 2023 Order of Canada ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. She looks radiant as she hands a recipient a medal.
A long time customer from Calgary is a personal friend of the Governor General’s and she brought Mary Simon into the boutique where she selected from my collections a wool caplet trimmed in suede with one of my signature suede maple leaf scarves.
After designing and creating for so many years, this is truly an honour! She is such a beautiful woman inside and out.
